General
We, the KTS Kunststoff Technik Schmölln GmbH, attach utmost importance to the protection of our users‘ privacy. This shall, in particular, apply to the processing of your personal data. When using our website, you are not required to disclose personal data. However, in certain cases, we will need your name and address as well as some other details in order to be able to handle your order. Where necessary, we shall make you aware of this fact. Furthermore, we shall only store and process the data you have provided to us voluntarily or automatically.

 

Data Collection and Processing
Any access to our website and any retrieval of data located on our website are logged. This, especially, includes the retrieved file name, date and time of the retrieval, data volume transferred, confirmation of successful retrieval of data, web browser, and enquiring domain. The data is stored for internal and statistical purposes. Additionally, the IP address of the enquiring computer is logged. Further personal data will only be collected if you have provided the details voluntarily, e.g. in the context of an inquiry, an offer, or a registration.

 

Use of Data and Disclosure to Third Parties
We shall treat the personal data you have provided as confidential, and shall only disclose them to third parties if they are required for the order handling, e.g. for the transfer of order data to suppliers. In no case will we sell or rent out your personal data or any data relating to your person to third parties. Personal data shall only be used for handling your orders, responding to your questions, and for compiling internal and anonymous statistics. The only exceptions are formed by services which you have ordered and which include your consent to use your data, and by cases of disclosing your data to governmental institutions and authorities in accordance with the legal regulations. If it is required within the scope of contractual agreements, we will disclose your data, which we have collected and stored with your consent, to business partners as far as it is necessary in your interest. Of course, our business partners are required and obligated to observe the legal regulations on data protection.

As far as we put any advertisement for other companies on our web site, we shall mark it as advertisement. According to the judgement (312 O 85/98 - “Liability for links”) passed by the Hamburg regional court (Landgericht Hamburg) on 12 May 1998, it is stated clearly that by setting a link, you may be held co-responsible, i.e. be liable for the contents of the page which the link leads to. This can only be prevented if the owners of the website explicitly distance themselves from this content. We, the KTS Kunststoff Technik Schmölln GmbH, hereby expressively distance from such content.

We, the KTS Kunststoff Technik Schmölln GmbH, shall not transfer your data to any non-EU country without your consent, unless it is required for the business transaction and expressly permitted by the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz BDSG).

 

Right of Information and Right of Objection

Right to Data Portability
We process data on the basis of your consent or fulfilling a contract by automated means. You shall have the right to receive such data or have them sent to a third party in a commonly used and machine-readable format. If you wish the data to be transferred directly to another responsible, it shall be possible, provided that it is technically feasible.

 

Erasure of Personal Data
The personal data which are stored shall be erased if the user of the web site or the client, respectively, withdraws consent to the storage, if knowing them is no longer needed for the purpose of the storage, or if their storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons. The aforesaid shall not affect data for billing and accounting purposes.

This website uses Google Analytics, i.e. a web analytics service of Google Inc., with the additional function „AnonymizeIP“, which means that the IP addresses will not be stored and processed completely but only in a shortened form in order to exclude drawing conclusions directly about the person. Google Analytics also uses cookies which generate information on how you use this website (including your IP address) which will be transferred to a Google’s server in the USA and will be stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate how you use this website, to collect reports for the website owners about activities on the website, and to render further services in connection with the use of the website and the internet. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if it is required by law, or if third parties process these data by the order of Google. In no case will Google associate your IP address with other data. Google Maps
This website uses the web mapping service Google Maps via an application programming interface (API). The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. In order to use the functions of Google Maps, it is required to store your IP address. This information is normally transmitted to and stored on a Google’s server in the USA. The owner of this website has no influence on this data transfer. We use Google Maps in order to achieve an attractive representation of our online offers, and to make it easy for our visitors to find the locations stated on our website. Newsletter
Customers can order and subscribe to our regularly published newsletter anonymously. In order to address you by name, we would like you to state your last name and first name. Additionally, we need your email address and your confirmation to be the owner of the stated email address, as well as your agreement to receiving the newsletter (Double Opt-In). We shall collect this data solely for the purpose of sending you the newsletter, and to be able to document our entitlement concerning this matter. For dispatching the newsletter, we commission a service company which stores your data in compliance with the legal regulations. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter and withdraw your given consent to the storage of your email address at any time.

 

Data security
We assure you to store your personal data by using all technically and organizationally possible measures so that they will not be accessible to third parties. As we cannot guarantee a complete data security when communicating by email, we would advise you to send confidential information by post.
